From November 2nd, TAKUROMAN's first exhibition "Be Proud of the Crowd." will be held at Yokohama.✨

TAKUROMAN will hold the first exhibition "Be Proud of the Crowd." from November 2nd (Tue) to December 30th (Thu), 2021 at Lounge, a hair salon in Yokohama (2F Southwood, 6-1 Chigasaki Chuo, Tsuzuki-ku, Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa-ken). Through the Covid disaster, he expressed the "value of gathering people together" that I recognized again through art.

The exhibition was curated by Fancy Art (2-14-8 Chuo, Kamagaya-shi, Chiba-ken), whose concept is "to enrich the life of people by bringing art closer to them, just like fashion." A total of 16 works are displayed in a bold layout to match the stylish space inside the lounge. The exhibition is free of charge, even if you do not receive a haircut.

From December 15-19, 2021, TAKUROMAN will be participating in the 5th Christmas Art Competition at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. The theme of the work is also "The Value of Gathering People". This exhibition will also be held in Yokohama City, and you can enjoy the connection between the works in both exhibitions.

This is my first exhibition of my work, and I would like to thank Mr. Shimooka, the owner of Hair Club Paris Ltd, the company that runs the Lounge, for giving me this opportunity.

I would also like to thank Mr. Naito, the CEO of Fancy Art, who curated the exhibition, for his great efforts from the planning stage to the set-up. Thank you very much.

I would also like to thank all the many people who support us.

The activities of an artist are usually not directly useful to society, such as building roads or broadcasting radio waves. However, by expressing something, we can make people feel some kind of awareness in their thinking.

At the same time, I wanted to convey the importance of relationships with people, which was brought to light by the Corona disaster. I am glad that I was able to give form to this idea.

If you are ever in the Yokohama area, I hope you will take a look.

Thanks.
